Do Something

“Do Something” was a missions convention theme this year that we had the privilege to design. These yearly themes only get used once by our clients, so we are obliged to pass them on for others to use again. Please enjoy this free “Do Something” PNG logo, 8.5 x 5.5 bulletin cover, and over-sized PowerPoint (click on images below and then right click to “save as” and download). Faith in Action

DIY Chalkboard Quotes and Notes

With so many attribution-free resources available online, it’s easier to make your own chalkboard typography for Facebook or Pinterest quotes and notes than you might think. One of the best places to pick up completely free photos in a hurry is As they explain on Pixabay, ” You can use any Pixabay image without attribution in digital and printed form, even for commercial applications.” Great news, right? Once you create a free account, do a quick search for “chalkboard” and you’ll see a good selection of options like the one I used in my examples below. Next, all you need is a good chalkboard font or two. The fonts I’ve used below are chalk-hand-lettering-shaded and Chalk it up; both are available from one of my favorite font websites, Install the fonts and drop your background and your personalized text into any kind of image-editing software. I prefer Adobe Photoshop, but there are also a dozen free Photoshop-like alternatives to choose from that you can find online. Feel free to use the high resolution chalkboard quotes below, or even better, make your own. Enjoy!

Do Something Great Today

Ten years ago today, my husband proposed. After a half-hour of speechlessness (rare for me), I finally said “yes!” That was a per-ret-ty great day. Love One Another

I love Valentine’s Day. It’s a good excuse to make a homemade card, spread some love, and remind your favorite humans on the planet why they are your favorite humans on the planet. A Mom’s Promise

I recently came across the below quote (author unknown) and really liked it until about halfway through:

My promise to my children: For as long as I live, I will always be your parent first, and your friend second. I will stalk you, flip out on you, lecture you, drive you insane, be your worst nightmare, and hunt you down like a bloodhound when I have to, because I love you. When you understand that, I will know you have become a responsible adult. You will never find anyone else in your life who loves, prays, cares, and worries about you more than I do. If you don’t mutter under your breath ”I hate you” at least once in your life, I am not doing my job properly.

There is at least one person who prays for my three children as much as I do (probably more), their Grandma. So, this is my modified version. Enjoy!
